ABOUT DAVID GAMBOA SOLANO

As a Junior Policy Advisor at the OECD’s Centre for Tax Policy and Administration, I specialize in tax incentives within the Business and International Taxes Unit. My professional journey is rooted in a strong academic background and extensive research experience. I hold a Research Master in Comparative Politics from Sciences Po Paris, where I authored a thesis on \"Rational Choice and Ideological Constraints in Public Policy Evaluation: An Analysis of Trust and Satisfaction in Latin America.\" Prior to joining the OECD, I contributed to the \"Government at a Glance\" report and various projects in the Public Governance Directorate, focusing on Latin America and the Caribbean (LAC). My diverse roles have included working as a Consultant for the Youth Political Participation Index Project with the Rift Valley Institute and as a Research Assistant on multiple international projects, ranging from public sector governance to political representation and minority adaptability in urban environments. I am passionate about public policy, governance, and economic development, with a particular focus on enhancing tax policies and fostering international cooperation.
