David is a licensed auctioneer, and also a Certified Equipment Appraiser (CEA) as designated by the Association of Machinery and Equipment Appraisers (AMEA, and is a graduate of the Auction Marketing Institute. David is a member of various trade organizations including the Industrial Auctioneers Association (IAA - current board member), the National Auctioneers Association (NAA), the New York State Auctioneers Association (NYSAA), the Turnaround Management Association (TMA - current board member, Carolinas Chapter), the American Bankruptcy Institute (ABI), the Machinery Dealers National Association (MDNA).Specialties: Auction sales of \"inside the factory\" manufacturing and/or process equipment and all types of real property. Our sale and project management are always tailored specifically to the needs of the client and the situation. David is also an expert witness in various matters relating to auction sales, foreclosure sales and proving \"commercially reasonable\" sale matters.Developing unique solutions to asset liquidation problems for banks and companies in a restructuring mode or otherwise in financial distress. David has extensive experience in all aspects of 11 U.S.C, in particular in crafting sales under §363 that go beyond the typical \'cut and paste\' motions we see so regularly in bankruptcy situations.By utilizing any combination of private negotiated sales, on-site auction sales, online auction sales or sealed bid offerings we are able to maximize the value of underutilized or otherwise surplus industrial equipment and/or real estate.
