ABOUT DAVID FAIRS

As a Partner at LCP, I combine my insights on regulatory approaches with my UK and international corporate advisor experience for the benefit of LCP\'s clients and prospects. I have over 35 years of experience in the pensions and financial services industry, and I am a Fellow of the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries and the Institute of Mathematics and its Applications. I am passionate about helping organisations shape a more positive future through market leading capabilities across pensions and financial services, energy, health and analytics.I am also an Ambassador for Included, a global impact-led D&I consultancy that brings together smart people to build inclusive organisations. I co-chaired the Diversity and Inclusion Committee at The Pensions Regulator, where I was the former Executive Director of Regulatory Policy, Analysis and Advice. I was responsible for developing TPR policy on a wide range of issues, including governance and trusteeship, climate change, funding of DB schemes, the pensions dashboard, regulation of Superfunds and pension fund investment, ESG and climate change. I was a Board member of TPR, TPR’s representative on the Board of Supervisors at EIOPA, and Chairman of JFAR’s pensions working group. I also provide commentary to national and trade press and have appeared on radio and television to comment on pensions and benefit issues.
