WORK HISTORY
Analog Ic Design Engineer @STMicroelectronics
Milan, IT
Design and development of analog integrated circuits (ICs) for the data-storage market in most-recent BiCMOS technologies. Ongoing work includes OpAmp and CSA design in the most advanced BCD technology node. The activity is focused on architectural study and definition, transistor-level design, simulation and verification to guarantee the customer specifications. It includes team-working, close collaboration with the layout engineer to drive the layout activity of the designed devices, and the assessment of functionality and performances with post-layout and top-level simulations.Key components are technical expertise (e.g, OpAmp, high-speed signals [<10Gbps] treatment, DACs, regulators, references), familiarity with CAD tools, software skills, communicative attitude, proactivity, and self-learning ability- HW Design ENG II- HW Design ENG I- HW Design JR ENG IIPatent- Fast Recovery Voltage Regulator (US App. 18••••11)- Selectable Current Booster Circuit (US App. 19••••90)- HDD Preamplifier Writer and Method of Calibrating Thereof (US App.

ABOUT DAVIDE MORELLO
Analog IC Design Engineer (HW Design ENG II) at STMicroelectronics within the APMS group, where I began my career with my Master\'s Thesis titled \"Power Supply Induced Jitter (PSIJ) Reduction in HDD Preamplifier Writer\". I specialized in developing advanced HDD Preamplifier Writer and Laser IPs for the Data Storage market, having led successful tapeouts in the latest BiCMOS technology. I have submitted three patents related to these projects and served as a speaker at the worldwide DAC Workshop, part of the ST staff community.Currently, I am designing high-performance OpAmps in the latest BCD technology node.My expertise spans advanced analog, high-speed (<7 Gbps), and mixed-signal design, as well as layout design and analysis, and cross-team collaboration to deliver robust and well-documented solutions.I hold a BSc in Biomedical Engineering (2019) and an MSc in Electronic Engineering (2022), both from the distinguished Politecnico di Milano. In 2020, I participated in the Erasmus+ exchange program at Aalto University (Helsinki, Finland). Alongside my studies, I worked part-time on weekends.
