ABOUT DAVIDE DELLA CASA

I have 15+ years of experience as technical project manager, project manager and rollout manager in consulting (Accenture), telecom (Vodafone), media (EMI Music and Sony Music), mobile (Shazam), gaming (Sony Computer Entertainment) and VR / AR companies. I have managed offshore teams and managed projects under tight timeframes. I have also experience in sw. development, in both personal projects (see below) and in the finance sector (Algebrite).I gained an Executive MBA from Imperial College (London), I have a \"ScrumMaster and Estimation\" certificate, PRINCE 2 certificate, 5-years computer science degree and publications in the field of computer science.Besides my professional interest in Project Management, I have a deep interest in Computer Algebra Systems, live interfaces, visualisation, programming language design, generative art. I\'m active in open source, maintaining 40 repositories (i.e. original repositories I created) totalling more than 600 stars on Github. Some of these projects had/have professional relevance (i.e. five JIRA- related tools) significant impact/adoption on the relevant interest groups (i.e. Algebrite, LiveCodeLab), or gained academic recognition (LiveCodeLab again).Some of these projects were/are:• finalist in the Google DevArt competition 2014• shown at Mozilla Festival, Google IO Extended London, and Science Museum• presented with submitted/accepted/published paper at ACM SIGPLAN 2014• published in Wired UK edition (both print and online)• exhibited at the V&A, Barbican and Centre Pompidou• presented/taught in schools’ and universities\' coding workshops
