ABOUT After studying in Rome and Bologna, I started my career at AECOM in March 2019, joining the soil and groundwater remediation team. As Site Manager, I managed the activities aiming at the environmental characterisation of industrial poles, processing the data related to the environmental matrices examined and producing the final reports, in compliance with the national regulations in force on soil and groundwater remediation (Ministerial Decree 471/99 and Legislative Decree 152/06). I have gained solid experience in the use of the main geotechnical investigation methods and in the implementation of various remediation technologies. In addition, I have been involved in the supervision of decontamination activities of storage tanks for hazardous substances. During this experience, I was confronted with evolving issues that required dedicated analyses and site-specific assessments of the activities to be carried out while maintaining high standards of environmental impact prevention. Since July 2019, I have been involved in the design and management of industrial site remediation activities both from an environmental and plant/mechanical perspective.
