Assistant Professor (U. of Warwick) And module leader for \"Medical Device: Design, Maintenance and Assessment\". Involved in the Large Scale Pilot management of the Gatekeeper EU project Secretary General for EAMBES- Co-Lead for the Society and Culture Spotlight (U. of Warwick)- Executive member of the Biomedical Engineering Institute (https://warwick.ac.uk/fac/sci/eng/bmei/about/)- Steering committee member for Warwick Interdisciplinary Research Centre for International Development (https://warwick.ac.uk/fac/soc/pais/research/wicid/)- PhD in biomedical engineering at the U. of Warwick (England). My current research deals with the design of medical devices for low-resource settings. I\'m currently investigating the essential criteria for the design of medical devices resilient to such settings, and working on a mHealth and additive manufacturing based solutions.I\'m also interested in the intersection of bioethics with biomedical engineering, with a special focus on the challenges surrounding both regulatory frameworks and standards for medical devices and locations, and those concerning COVID-19.
