ABOUT DAVIDE CAPODANNO

Davide Capodanno, MD, PhD, is Full Professor of Cardiology at the University of Catania, Director of the Postgraduate School of Cardiovascular Diseases, and Director of the Cardiology Division at the Azienda Ospedaliero-Universitaria Policlinico “G. Rodolico–S. Marco” in Catania, Italy. He earned his MD and PhD from the University of Catania and completed advanced research training at the University of Florida, Jacksonville.He has authored more than 750 peer-reviewed publications and contributed to five textbooks and multiple chapters in interventional cardiology. He has delivered over 400 invited lectures at international scientific meetings, including ESC, ACC, EuroPCR, TCT, and TCTAP. His research focuses on coronary revascularization, antithrombotic therapy, clinical trial methodology, and biostatistics.He serves on the PCR Board and is Editor-in-Chief of EuroIntervention.
