I\'m an Engineer with 10 years of experience in an EPC company where I have enjoyed many relevant positions within the technical department and also played a key role in procurement, project management and customer care departments. Working at a medium-sized company, I have had a lot of opportunities for aggressive learning and growth. But, more importantly, I was able to follow the entire life cycle of a product, from concept design to detailed engineering, to procurement, followed by construction, on-site commissioning and after sales support. As of now, I\'m directly involved in every cycle of the project and wear many hats throughout the day. As part of my assignments, I manage engineering, procurement, project management and customer care for the mechanical / process / piping disciplines and work closely, often brainstorming, with structural / electrical / software disciplines. I\'m responsible for the mechanical / process / piping procurement budget assigned to each project, usually in the 1M$ to 15M$ range.On big size projects, specifically offshore platforms where large engineering firms get involved to design the drilling facilities, I get the appointment of Project Lead and I manage & lead cross-functional teams.I\'ve developed a wide range of soft skills. Having been exposed to multicultural working environments as well as constantly interfacing with both blue-collar & white-collar workers, I feel comfortable working with individuals from various backgrounds and able to adapt communication style to suit diverse audiences, from field technicians to senior management.    Responsible for designing onshore/offshore drilling equipment with focus on mechanical & fluid conveyance systems (i.e: hydraulic oil, instrument air, drilling mud, cement, drill water, brine, base oil, seawater, firewater, etc.).• Monitor the design progress of the equipment and maintain project schedule, being personally involved from the early stages of the design to the final installation.• Support Project Manager and Engineering Manager in technical management of the project to hit targets: costs, time schedule, performance.• Conduct regular meetings, internally with other disciplines and externally with customers & vendors, to ensure clarification and meet specific requirements.• Manage a team of people who work on the creation of mechanical drawings, piping specifications, P & IDs, process flow diagrams, isometrics, 3D models, and other documentation as per contract requirements.
