BSEE• Over 30 years manufacturing experience• 8 plus years in the wire industry• Extensive plant/maintenance management experienceAs a Six Sigma Green belt, I have experience using flow charting, FMEA, DOE, control plans, capability studies, SPC methods, etc. to improve a process.With a background in TPM implementation, I have been involved with 5s improvement projects. Also, I am familiar with team oriented problem solving, value stream mapping, pull systems, Kaizen improvements, all aspects of project management and ISO 9001/QS 16949 quality systems auditing. To a lesser degree I have been involved with one piece flow, visual factory, capacity planning, standard work assessments, and time/motion studies.I have had increasing roles of supervisory responsibility over the years that include managing hourly associates and project engineers, managing over 80 contractor associates from five different contractor groups and also managing multiple manufacturing sites.My strengths include strong project management skills with project scope development, contractor quoting, and project implementation with an emphasis on delivering projects according to plan. I have excellent personnel management skills with the ability to train, lead, mentor, and manage personnel for optimum performance.
