He is a two-time winner of the annual Truist Performance Awards, which honors the outstanding efforts of Truist teammates who have delivered breakthrough performance with excellence in behaviors and results.Originally from Paris, Texas (the 2nd largest “Paris” in the world), David grew up spending most of his time at his grandparent\'s house, hearing the stories of how they survived the Great Depression as poor tenant cotton farmers, so he learned the value of hard work and determination from an early age. David is married to his high school sweetheart, Becky. Today David and Becky live in the Dallas area with their children, Evan (the pilot) and Emma (the artist), where they are active in their local church in teaching and music ministry. The Chapmans love good food, good conversation, and traveling to beaches and mountains.
