About David Chan
I grew up immersed in art, influenced early on by creative family and friends. At age seven, I picked up my first “how to draw” book at a book convention, an experience that sparked a lifelong passion for visual storytelling. Alongside art, I was an avid gamer, spending countless hours across the SNES, N64, and PlayStation/Xbox eras, which shaped my appreciation for interactive worlds and thoughtful design. When it came time to choose a career, the CG field felt like a natural evolution of those early influences. As a 3D artist, I bring versatility, strong attention to detail, and an analytical eye to every project. Whether building rich, immersive environments or modeling vehicles and props, I approach my work with precision, curiosity, and a drive to deliver polished, high-quality results.Today, as an Environment Lead and Art Manager, I bring that same passion to building and guiding teams. I focus on cultivating diverse skill sets, assembling team compositions that align with both the product vision and future growth, and collaborating closely with production, cross-functional teams, external partners and studio leadership to deliver cohesive, high-impact experiences.
