ABOUT DAVID FAN
I\'m an affordable housing leader with deep experience in landlord-tenant law, developing and implementing policies and processes, operations and compliance monitoring with HUD and Tax Credit programs, and ensuring that properties are well maintained, within scope and budget, while enhancing the quality of life for residents. I\'ve led complex projects including rehabs and lease-ups from conception to delivery, strategy, operations budgeting, and managing a variety of portfolios including low-income, senior, inclusionary, affordable, and market rate housing units across the San Francisco Bay Area.I take a human first approach to building trust, relationships, partnering with others, and take immense pride in providing excellent customer service, delivering quality work, and value integrity, honesty, continuous learning, feedback from others, and creating pathways towards equitable access to opportunities and resources. Our communities should have equitable access to quality housing regardless of background. Affordable housing communities are strong and vibrant when residents are empowered and actively involved in their neighborhoods, have a voice in the decision making process, and property management encourages community building and agency through resident councils and active dialogue.
