As a dedicated student leader and emerging forensic professional at John Jay College of Criminal Justice, I currently serve as a Forensic Auditor Intern with the New York City Department of Investigation, where I apply my academic knowledge in real-world investigative contexts.In my leadership roles, I serve as President of the Honors Scholars Council and Chief of Staff to the Student Council Treasurer, where I oversee program initiatives and foster collaboration across our diverse student community. My academic journey has been enriched through active involvement in programs including the John Jay Honors Program and the Urban Male Initiative.Drawing strength from my Salvadorian heritage and the values instilled by my parents as a first-gen student, I’ve focused on building meaningful connections across the college community, from fellow students to administration leadership. Through my mentoring work with My Brother’s Keeper Connect, I’ve had the opportunity to guide incoming John Jay freshmen and give back to the community that has supported my growth.My leadership philosophy centers on authenticity, integrity, and mutual respect as values that guide my approach to both professional excellence and community service. I believe in the power of diverse perspectives and strong networks to drive positive change.
