About David McElroy

I am a technically focused individual with a passion for emerging technology and its application to government and healthcare. Currently, I manage a team of 8 highly skilled individuals within, IBM Federal Client Engineering, to develop AI solutions for the government. Last year, I had the privilege of working for a senior IBM executive as the Technical Lead for the integration of newly acquired Octo Consulting into IBM\'s business. From 20••••23, I was an Account Technical Lead working with the US Federal Government. I drove technical strategy across the entirety of IBM\'s technology portfolio for the Social Security Administration and the Department of Health and Human Services. From 20••••19, I was the Blockchain Lead for IBM\'s Federal Software Business. During that time, I trained hundreds of government employees and contractors on the concept of blockchain, its technical capabilities, and its application across the Federal industry. I also helped build IBM\'s Federal blockchain business by developing and driving go to market strategy, forging government and industry partnerships, and crafting solution and project proposals. Those efforts led to the execution of several successful blockchain projects that I helped lead with Federal organizations like the CDC and US Navy.
