I build Infrastructure for Housing Abundance.Most see the \"Missing Middle\" as a real estate challenge; I see it as a Capacity Bottleneck. For twenty years, I have scaled residential operations in British Columbia. During that time, I discovered a fundamental truth: you cannot solve a housing crisis with bespoke, site-built \"projects\". My journey in this industry has always been driven by a single question: How can we build better, faster, and more efficiently?As the former Master Franchise Partner with Alair Homes, I grew an eight-office region to over $20M in annual revenue. While overseeing dozens of residential and multiplex builds annually, I saw firsthand the fragmentation and capital inefficiency that holds our housing market back.I believe the future of Vancouver’s housing isn\'t in luxury towers, but in the \"missing middle\"- the multiplexes on tree-lined streets that create true community. Today, as the Co-Founder & CEO of VanPlex, I am building the \"Operating System\" for housing abundance.We are moving away from traditional, slow site-building toward a \"programmed\" model. By combining proprietary AI-driven underwriting with precision mass-timber modular systems, we are achieving:Speed: Reducing build cycles from the 24-month industry standard to just 9 months.Sustainability: Utilizing mass timber to achieve a 25% reduction in carbon compared to concrete.Predictability: Using our \"Vancouver Multiplex Index\" to ensure every project is backed by data-driven certainty.In 2024, I was honored to receive the Homebuilders Association of Vancouver Award for Best Multiplex Unit.
