About David A.
I’m a Product Director with a deep passion for electric vehicles, intuitive technology, and design thinking. My mission is to make EV charging seamless and satisfying —removing friction at every step and delivering a charging experience that just works, for everyone.I lead Hardware & Systems at Mercedes-Benz High-Power Charging, where my focus is building a seamless, driver-first charging experience. I bring this vision to life by partnering with top EVSE manufacturers to deploy high-performance solutions across our network. From hardware integration and user experience design to testing and rollout, I ensure every charger we launch is intuitive, reliable, and built around real-world driver needs.Over the past decade, I’ve worked across the EV and automotive industries at companies like ABB e-Mobility, Shell Recharge, American Honda, and Faraday Future—always with a focus on building great products and leading cross-functional teams to success.I also contribute to user interface and user experience design, collaborating across hardware, software, and design teams to make every touchpoint—from the physical station to the payment flow—simple and human-centered.I hold a B.S. from California State University, Long Beach, an M.B.A. from Brandman University, and am a certified Scrum Product Owner. I’m based in Los Angeles, where I spend my off-hours distance running, exploring new tech, or reimagining the future of electrification.Let’s connect—especially if you believe charging should be as easy as plugging in and walking away.
