When I entered the workforce in the late 1970\'s there were few opportunities for people with disabilities. When I couldn\'t find gainful employment I decided to start my own company. When I sought out agencies to help me, I found that these agencies didn\'t understand how to meet my needs. At first I conceived this agency as a NPO that would provide training to people with disabilities to teach the skills needed to run a business, provide grants for startup funding to build a business, and resources to purchase adaptive equipment. The organization never quite got started because I didn\'t have the funds needed to apply for NPO status. My goal is to eventually set this up as a foundation
