People are the most important asset an organization has, and it must take care to maintain and protect its valuable resource-As a General Contractor varied work was completed in a multitude of areas and certification was achieved in OSHA 30 hour General Industry, Construction Industry and HAZWOPER-40. Further professional certification was achieved in many OSHA topics with the University of South Florida and their OTIEC OSHA certificate programs. Current certification includes OSHA 510 and 500; additional designations as a competent person in Fall protection, concrete construction and excavation.Involvement in emergency management and incident response includes local Homeland Security and FEMA sponsored Community Emergency Response team leadership, CERT class instruction, certification as a wilderness certified EMT, and employment as a Public Safety Officer.Graduate degree completed at Wheaton College (IL) in Intercultural Studies with a focus in Leadership Development among young adults.Undergrad completed at Wheaton College (IL)-Double Major: Biblical and Theological Studies with a Theology concentration, & Christian Education with a Certificate in Youth MinistryAlmost 20 years experience working with Jr High Youth, Sr High Youth, and Emerging Adult leadership at summer camps, church youth groups, small group discipleship, individual mentoring, group mentoring and Community Based Organizations.Athletics and Recreational administration experience in both the private and local government arenas managing and supervising the membership portion of the Wheaton College Sports and Recreation Complex (SRC) and some of Wheaton Park District\'s satellite athletic facilities.Mentoring and development experience in church and para-church organizations, community based organizations, non-profits, camps and collegiate organizations for ages 6-24 through case work, educational assistance, classroom teaching of life skills and college success classes, & more.
