Lead Corrective Actions of high level/high impact problems using 8D methodology • Analyze trends in customer returned parts provide analysis to focus internal improvement needed to address the trends. • Drive Best Known Methods (BKM) and lessons learned throughout Maxim • Make sure all the essential parts meet the customer requirements. • Ensure that the worksite is tuned to maintain the Quality Management System. • Perform internal audit of Maxim fabs. • Perform supplier audits of critical suppliers within the US and abroad. • Facilitate customer audits/visits and third party registration audits. • Review, analyze and follow-up with the field returns from customers that are attributed to the fabrication defects. • Determine the engineering change notices and follow-up with the approved ones if customer communication is required. • Work with staff on QA and customer requirements for smooth operations, operational excellence and customer satisfaction. • Monitor key performance indicators (Cpk, Defect Density, Scrap, etc.) for the facility. • Work on continuous improvement projects and quality improvement projects. • Guide engineering/production staff on Maxim’s policies. • Coordinate reliability qualification of high-risk process changes/experiments. • Coordinate corrective action for process related field failures and communicate progress to customer.
