Previously, he led Google product management teams for AdSense, GameSnacks, Ad Connector and Funding Choices, a cohesive portfolio of industry leading ads solutions. Prior to Google, served as a Vice-President at Cadence leading software products in analog IC design and the corporate-wide AI Task Force. Also led the DARPA’s MAGESTIC program that included NVIDIA and Carnegie Mellon in the development of leading-edge AI solutions for electronics design. Joined Cadence through the 2006 acquisition of Praesagus, an electronic design automation (EDA) software company co-founded in 2001 and where he served as CTO until the merger. Recognized for leadership and innovation with 40 issues patents. Received 2019 \"Innovation by All\" Leadership Award from Great Places to Work. Appointed to Advisory Board of the National Science Foundation, Washington D.C and MIG Advisory Board at MIT. Presented the annual EDA industry roadmap to the US Department of Commerce. Co-authored the “Mixed Signal Methodology Guide”, a book on future IC design challenges and AI solutions. Co-author and editor of the “Handbook of Intelligent Control”, an NSF sponsored book on AI that included pioneers in machine learning. Completed a Doctor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from MIT with a minor from the MIT Sloan School of Management.
