   Developing policies relating to Underwriting, Risk, Compliance, and Critical Infrastructure- Establishing appropriate risk appetite based on current portfolio performance, partnerships, and sales initiatives- Ensuring adherence to all policies, rules, laws, and regulatory requirements related to card processing (KYC, CIP, AML, FinCEN, OFAC, card brand policies, etc.)- Underwriting and Risk program development for accepting each merchant vertical/industry. By analyzing unique risks of each merchant type, processing method, establishing requirements for assessing their card processing risk, and how to ensure minimums related to compliance, financial, and reputational risk are mitigated- Drafting documentation and training program for Underwriting, to ensure consistency and compliance. While simultaneously working across teams to create and define tools for expediting and enhancing our review process- Providing guidance on how to enhance current processes to mitigate risk and provide better merchant support, through new technology and improved company processes- Conducting investigations into risk related issues, monitoring merchant performance parameters, and MMSP reported incidents- Coordinating efforts with internal Dev Team regarding data parsing and processing needs with TSYS files- Auditing TSYS data for accuracy, correcting issues when found, ensuring incoming files integrate appropriately into our merchant portal, and working with internal Dev Team and Integrations Specialist to resolve issues when found- Developing SQL queries/tables/views to monitor portfolio for risk patterns. Alongside developing reports Acquiring Bank and card brands- Working with company ownership to improve and redefine overall goals, how to improve weaknesses, and further enhance strengths- Conducting vendor reviews relating to risk management services, including but not limited to: G2, TSYS, PCI-DSS Compliance, IRISCRM, Site Surveys.
