About David Zinn

Having worked in the semiconductor industry for over 20 years, I have been involved with nearly all phases of product development and support. I have managed several process technologies which included inventing devices with world-class FOM, implementing and overseeing design rules, improving yield, failure analysis, and program managing. I have had experience managing teams of engineers and leading research and development efforts of brand new technologies. I believe my broad experience across many semiconductor-related engineering disciplines has been instrumental in developing me into the role of engineering program manager. As a result of my experience and love of technology development, over the past several years I have brought many cross-functional teams together to introduce innovative products to the market from concept to mass production. I have proficiency using the following software tools: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Keynote, Jira, Box, Sharepoint, Perforce, TCAD, Cadence Virtuoso and Assura, R3D, and many moreI have proficiency using lab equipment such as: SEM, wafer probe station, curve tracer, oscilloscope, parameter analyzer, TLP, DMM, waveform generator, and other device characterization tools. Failure analysis techniques: liquid crystal, dual beam FIB, EMMI, OBIRCH, SRP, SIMS. I am equally comfortable in a Windows, Linux/UNIX, or MacOS environment I am familiar with and have used the following programming languages: PERL, C++, VBA, csh, php.
