Contribute to the complete re-design of a liquid chromatography sample management module as a member of the product development team- Responsible for majority of injection molded parts both in design and communication with outside vendors for quick turn parts as well as final suppliers for high volume material - Responsible for the development of a new Vial Bottom Detection Algorithm using Python for motor control and encoder feedback loops- Led the development of an algorithm for detecting ice formation on a heater-cooler engine and melting the ice before negative effects occur in the system- Conduct thermal testing to ensure proper insulation of sample management module - Work with New Product Introduction to address issues in assembly and manufacturing - Regularly perform root cause analysis to solve problems and provide feedback for design changes - Gather and analyze data to make informed decisions about product design and algorithm development - Communicate effectively and efficiently with electrical and software engineers to implement new product features and solve problems
