About David Yeung
My professional experience as a scientist and engineer in medical device development has given me a strong background in orthopedic surgery and biologically enabled healing and tissue regeneration.My research experience is broadly in tissue engineering and more specifically in extracellular matrix (ECM) protein interactions such as how cells interact with and remodel collagen in various tissues. More recently, I have had the opportunity to apply those skills towards the development of new sports medicine related products for the repair and healing of damaged tissue. My long term goal is to use my skills and experience to continue to drive research and/or product development in an industry setting in order to improve the health and wellbeing of others.
