I am responsible for the general legal affairs of Advisors Excel, one of the country\'s largest independent marketing organizations for independent insurance agents selling annuities and life insurance products. I am also responsible for legal matters involving our affiliated companies that include an SEC-registered investment adviser and various service entities. My goal is to help our family of companies achieve our business objectives by providing my internal clients with responsive and practical legal and business advice.My team and I work closely with our business teams to procure products and services and to manage our relationships with employees and independent contractors. I advise our companies on complex transactional matters, including mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance and financial product development and distribution. I also advise our companies on various laws and regulations that impact the sale of insurance and financial products and the provision of investment advisory services. I am responsible for managing disputes involving our companies.
