About David Ruiz

With a background firmly rooted in tech and leadership, I\'ve recently finished an extensive stint at Lyft as a Technical Program Manager. After Lyft I decided to pivot my career path to Data Analytics, which led me to attend and complete a Nashville Software School bootcamp as of January 2025. My core competencies lie within data analytics, technical project leadership, and release management, skills honed and evidenced through successful cross-functional initiatives and strategic platform deployments. My tenure was marked by improved remediation times and the implementation of cost-saving automated review processes. As part of a dedicated team, we collectively fostered an environment that valued quick adaptation, embraced innovation, and prioritized customer satisfaction.While my recent background is more from a technical perspective, I also have ~12 years restaurant management experience in both back and front of house, I managed a retail store for ~4 years, and even used to design then build computer operating systems used to regulate industrial boiler rooms. Beyond my W2 work I also ran a music photography business in Chattanooga until 2016, while also selling and installing murals across the city (Tour De Noog 2013 - https://vimeo.com/66••••64).I\'ve worn many hats in my life, and I can\'t wait to find my next opportunity to learn and grow!
