Following the completion of the KTP project I have become a permanent member of the team at Edinburgh Gin, Spencerfield Spirit Company having been bought out by Ian Macleod Distillers shortly before the project completed. Focus then on running the two distilleries and producing quality and consistency across the range of Edinburgh Gin products, before moving the operation to The Arches Distillery in late 2024. Highlights of my time here have included:An unprecedented 7 wins in one night at the 2025 Scottish Gin Awards, including Distillery of the Year and 4 Gold medals in the taste awards:(Classic in London Dry, Cannonball in High Strength, EG Old Tom in Old Tom and Rhubarb & Ginger in Liqueur).A hat-trick of Master medals at the 2025 Spirits Business Gin Masters; for Old Tom, Cannonball Navy Strength and Rhubarb & Ginger LiqueurInducted into the Gin Guild as a Rectifier in May 2024Seaside Gin winning Gold at the 2023 Scottish Gin Awards in the Distilled categoryOrange & Basil gin winning Gold at the 2023 Scottish Gin Awards in the Citrus categoryProduct Development Team of the Year at the 2022 Scottish Gin AwardsEdinburgh Gin Classic winning the Gold medal at the 2022 Scottish Gin Awards for best London DryStrawberry & Pink Peppercorn Gin winning Gold at the 2022 Scottish Gin Awards for best Berry Flavoured GinCannonball Navy Strength named category champion for gin at the Bartenders\' Brand Awards 2021 and again in 2023.
