Process and export invoices & expenses (foreign and domestic) in ChromeRiver•Review and approve invoices for payment, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.•Ensuring that invoices are processed and paid in a timely manner to avoid late fees.•Assisting with month-end and year-end closing procedures, including accruals and financial reporting related to accounts payable.•Interacts with vendors to resolve payment-related issues or inquiries.•Verify vendor accounts by reconciling monthly statements and related transactions (WIPO, Global Exchange (foreign payments), and Wells Fargo Credit Card Expenses)•Maintain accounting ledgers by verifying and posting account transactions.• Schedule and prepare payments in Elite 3E• Enter manual vouchers into Elite 3E• Resolve contract, invoice, or payment discrepancies.•Ensure all credit is received for outstanding memos, issuing stop-payments.•Prepare and record closing journal entries in Elite 3E Creates and documents various processes (marking credits as paid, payment process, WIPO process, Lexis-Nexis, Pacer, & Westlaw uploads) when upgrading from Elite-to-Elite 3E platform•Oversees and trains new and current employees on new processes in 3E and Vlookups and new processes.•Updates and test rules in ChromeRiver to ensure proper workflow and audit measures were being met•Updates new workflow routing for termed employees and new hires or secretarial reassignments.•Calculates and filed Sales & Use tax for DC, NY, CA, and IL•Preparing reports related to accounts payable, such as aging reports, cash flow projections, and expense analysis, to support financial decision-making.•Collaborating with cross-functional teams, such as procurement, finance, and auditing, to ensure effective coordination and communication.•Providing guidance and support to junior accounts payable staff, reviewing their work, and assisting in their professional development.
