David moved to Tucson in 2004 from Portland, Oregon. He has over 25 years of experience in economic development and business advocacy. As Sun Corridor Inc.’s Executive Vice President, David oversees of a wide range of economic development programs and projects including the recruitment, retention, and expansion of businesses as well as government relations and policy development. David’s previous positions include Executive Vice President, Tucson Regional Economic Opportunities (TREO), Director of Economic Development for the Town of Oro Valley, CEO/President of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Tucson, founding Executive Director of the Northwest Environmental Business Council (NEBC), and Executive Director of the Oregon Environmental Technology Association (OETA). In addition, David serves on the board of directors of the Arizona Business Development Finance Corporation, Visit Tucson, Inc. and is a member of the Wilson Elementary School Site Council.
