About David Dunkerton
I have several years experience as an academic librarian, and while I have also served briefly in a public library and a legal office, my passion is to lead and mentor college students. In addition to library leadership, I also have experience teaching various subjects, and that gives me a closer connection with students to help them with research. I love the online environment for learning, and I value diversity. I also volunteer with Read Aloud West Virginia at a local elementary school. I have experience developing LibGuides using Springshare and on a Canvas course, as well as both developing and facilitating courses through the Canvas LMS.
