ABOUT DAVID WARNER
I\'m a \'seasoned\' Rural Practice Surveyor, with a proven track record of delivering large scale land and river management solutions for complex national infrastructure projects. I have practical experience of managing large scale dairy and high-country land portfolios. Likewise, I bring strong negotiation and communication skills, from experience gained in World reference companies, together with proven leadership and, more recently, I have increasingly been involved in troubleshooting to overcome clients fears in struggling projects. After many years of running a small farm in New Zealand, I have passionate interest in regenerative agriculture, coastal fisheries, practical renewable energy, and a specialist knowledge of soil management, irrigation/drainage. Together with real World experience of large scale infrastructure projects, I have a deep understanding of how the interaction of these issues can build national resilience in farming, energy and infrastructure. I am also passionate about developing the next generation of rural surveyors, and I am an accredited RICS mentor/examiner for the APC. As well as managing a large portfolio of high country stations and dairy farms, I\'ve been a small scale beef and sheep farmer for many years in the foothills of the Southern Alps, before returning to my native Gloucestershire. Still determined to show that slightly overweight, middle-aged chaps can save the World. I enjoy most things to do with the outdoors, which is just as well, as I\'m frequently in \'the doghouse\'.
