About David Walters

I graduated from SUNY Binghamton in May of 2021 with a bachelor\'s degree in Computer Science. As a student-athlete and captain of the Men\'s Swimming and Diving team at Binghamton University during my undergraduate studies, I was required to work with my fellow teammates in efforts to achieve a shared goal. Throughout my time as an athlete, I developed skills involving leadership, time management, teamwork, and communication.In regards to professional experience, I have developed modern applications for financial and technology companies. As an intern at a Pinnacle Associates, I was able to create python scripts that automated tasks to be completed within seconds that originally took up to one hour. As a firmware developer at IBM, I have engineered debugging tools to track complex multithreading deadlocks that in the past have not been solvable or reproducible. My goal when programming is to design fast, reliable and reusable modules that solve problems and create new functionality for any client on the receiving end.
