I have recently started a new role as Data Protection Executive at England Rugby, working within the Legal Team. The organisation promotes and governs rugby union in the country, from the grassroots level to the international elite. My role involves advising the business on a range of data protection compliance matters, such as individual data subject rights requests, data protection impact assessments, data processing agreements/provisions, privacy notices, and direct marketing.I worked previously within the Legal Team at England Golf, as Legal & Compliance Officer for just over two years.During 2024, I completed the Chartered Governance Institute\'s Level 4 Certificate in Sports Governance, which offered valuable insights into the wider corporate governance sector and, more specifically, into the growing sports governance space.I also hold a valid SIA Door Supervisor licence and have supported matchday security operations with a well-known football club since November 2024.
