ABOUT DAVID W TURNER
As the Director of Preconstruction, I bring the benefits of 37 years in the construction industry. My experience includes design-build industrial/ manufacturing projects. Over the years I have also worked on several large retail, timeshare, office, higher-education, condo, and large mixed-use projects for a well-rounded preconstruction \"toolbox\". I have also been involved in several “Avenue Lifestyle” retail centers around the Southeast, Mall of Georgia, and the renovations at Lenox Mall and the Phipps Plaza Façade in Atlanta. My strength in conceptual estimating has been an asset to developers and architects alike while partnering with them in the early stages of their projects. I am accustomed to the design-build approach and helping our clients understand where their dollars are being spent to meet their budget goals. I earned my Bachelor’s Degree at Georgia Southern College, graduating Magna Cum Laude in Construction Management. I also made the collegiate Soccer Team and played all 4 years. I was an officer for 3 years in the Sigma Nu Fraternity at Georgia Southern as well.An Atlanta native, I was raised in the construction industry learning from my parents to build their residences and working with a contractor each summer while in school. Currently residing in Decatur, I enjoy home remodeling projects and traveling!
