I’m a seasoned attorney, civic leader, and strategic advisor with 25+ years of helping organizations navigate the intersection of law, business, public policy, and community impact. My career spans high stakes legal work, executive level public service, and hands-on leadership in major economic development projects.As a two-time unanimously elected President of the Louisville Metro Council, I led transformative initiatives, built coalitions across sectors, and helped drive multi billion dollar growth. My work on projects like the KFC Yum! Center reflects my commitment to inclusive economic development and expanding opportunities for businesses and communities.In private practice, I serve as outside general counsel and strategic advisor to companies of all sizes—guiding them through regulatory shifts, corporate formation, contract negotiation, public private partnerships, ESG strategy, and mergers and acquisitions. I help clients anticipate challenges, seize opportunities, and position themselves for long-term success.I’ve also held leadership roles on numerous nonprofit and civic boards, including the Kentucky Science Center, the Boy Scouts of America’s Lincoln Heritage Council, the James Graham Brown Cancer Center, REBOUND, Inc, and the Henry Clay Center.
