About David W. Goldberg

As an award winning design leader for a wide range of institutional and corporate groups, Dave is skilled at helping clients express their values and support their mission through integrated design. He has focused his career on immersive places for work and learning with clients who care deeply about conservation, and connecting their users, residents, and staff to the natural world. Dave is a strong facilitator and design team leader for projects with large stakeholder groups, and believes that an engaging design process has the ability to bring clients and communities together around a shared vision for the future.As Mithun’s President, Dave has served on the firm’s Board of Directors since 2003, and has been instrumental in helping grow Mithun\'s practice to national prominence. He lectures nationally on integrated design, and the active roles that physical campus and building designs can play in the educational process. Dave currently serves on the boards of IslandWood and The University of Washington Foundation. His projects have received both industry and peer design recognition, including two AIA Committee on the Environment Top Ten Green Projects of the year.
