Under the general direction of the Divisional Secretary for Programs, responsible for the successful leadership and management of the Potomac Division’s Social Services program operations; to include Shelter operations, Pathway of Hope (PWOH), Emergency Services Assistance programs and resource development. The Potomac Division is comprised of Maryland, Virginia, West Virginia and Washington, DC and includes 56 Commands/Corps operations as well as 18 Service Centers under the directions of various commands and 15 Service Units (under the direct supervision of the Service Unit Director). Maintain a direct advisory relationship with all Commands/Corps and the Service Unit/Center Director for the purpose of program development, implementation, and evaluation; development of uniform flagship programs to support the strategic direction of the division. In collaboration with the Divisional Secretary for Program, Area Commanders, Corps Officers, and Service Unit Director, assist in the development, implementation and management of PMC’s strategic program direction, long term objectives, plans and initiatives aimed at aligning strategies with internal resources.Create and manage long-term program goals; develop operating budgets, plans and evaluation tools to assess program strengths and identify areas for improvement. Develop relationships with local community leaders, stakeholders, and agencies to enhance support of program operations. Lead efforts to identify and secure public/government funding in support of PMC Social Services Programs. In collaboration with the Divisional Secretary for Program, ensure the development and implementation of policies, procedures and workflow systems to manage the daily operations of Social Service programs.
