   Our mission at AMCC is to create and strengthen an alliance of communities with regional economic development initiatives underway dedicated to achieving sustainability through economic growth, improved environmental performance, and inclusive well-paid job creation supporting initiatives to create new opportunities and equity within a revitalized American manufacturing base.My role is focused on expanding AMCC\'s work through implementation of our strategic plan to help manufacturing communities grow, integrate, measure, and sustain a robust ecosystem of support in key industries in regions across the country.AMCC works towards accelerating productive outcomes in federally designated manufacturing communities, with a focus on those critical to America\'s 21st century success, namely Defense, Energy, Transportation, Agriculture, Communications, and Health. Our work helps manufacturers thrive through an ecosystem approach grounded in reliable metrics and using sustainable development best practices.
