I worked as a cover supervisor on two shifts at Waverley High School in Birmingham. On these occasions, I was saddled with the responsibilities of taking the kids to the playground, supervising their safety and compliance with school rules. I was also a cover for the teachers whenever in absentia. I also explained difficult topics to the students and also constantly reminded them of the school’s rules.
