About David Trotta
I have over a decade of experience working in behavioral health. I spent most of my career working with pediatric patients/clients in various acute settings. I implement creativity and innovation throughout my work. My academic journey is a testament to my dedication to the field of behavioral health. I am deeply interested in program development and leadership theory, and I favor authentic, relational, and service leadership styles. This interest, combined with my direct behavior health patient experience, inspired me to pursue and successfully complete my doctoral studies at Point Park University\'s Doctorate in Education: Leadership and Administration program in December 2023. I defended my dissertation in November 2023, a quantitative research study titled Differential Leadership Styles & Traits Impact Gen Y&Z Employees Working in The Mental Health Field. I hold a Master of Professional Counseling (2018) and a Bachelor of Arts (2015) from Carlow University. I look forward to connect with individuals who are implementing great work in the behavioral health/healthcare field!
