Chief of an 11-person high readiness, national strategic capability Nuclear Disablement Team. Responsible to train, develop, and employ the team in support of the national Countering WMD objectives in coordination with USG interagency partners. Responsible to plan, coordinate and execute the disablement of nuclear weapons infrastructure and securing special nuclear material and radiological sources from proliferation programs during contingency operations. Serve as the National Technical Nuclear Forensics (NTNF) Task Force Deputy, works with interagency partners at the FBI and DOE to conduct the NTNF ground sampling mission. Responsible to plan, develop, and execute training and exercisers with other US Government agencies to develop the essential skills to conduct nuclear disablement and nuclear forensic operations.
