   Managed and initialized development for a new research test turbine by establishing design constraints with the client and conducting rotordynamic feasibility studies to validate a concept design- Coordinate multiple internal continuous improvement initiatives, including retrofits to existing factory acceptance test equipment, establishing bearing packaging requirements, and development of a custom power supply for third-party customers and Synchrony R&D- Designed and drafted tooling for the manufacture of Synchrony magnetic bearing kits, using SolidWorks and applying principles of GD & T in drafting to ensure that bearings met inspection and factory acceptance testing requirements when built- Conducted an overhaul of Synchrony\'s notification and document control process, Engineering Notice, by writing a Python/Excel based program that implements SharePoint REST API and Microsoft application automation to create and share concise, detailed reports about releases or changes to engineering documents through a SharePoint site- Led pressure testing efforts on a prototype drivetrain housing by developing and verifying the integrity of test tooling using SolidWorks Simulation FEA, ordering all necessary parts, and conducting a successful pressurization of the housing to 800+ psi to prove the safety of the housing design- Programmed a suite of Python codes that use SolidWorks API to automate the creation of PDF\'s from drawings and generate part files like STEP and IGES from part/assembly models, allowing for these file-types to be produced at scale while organizing the metadata to be used in emails or in uploads to SharePoint
