I am a partner at Wuersch & Gering LLP, an international boutique law firm providing legal services to domestic and international clients who seek practical solutions for their legal challenges in the United States. I am an experienced franchise attorney. I assist franchisors in establishing franchise systems, preparing franchise disclosure documents, and maintaining state registrations. I assist franchisors and franchisees in asset purchases and resolving disputes. I am Chair of the New York State Bar Association Committee on Franchise, Licensing and Distribution. I have been recognized as one of the top franchise attorneys in the United States (\"Legal Eagle\") by Franchise Times magazine for more than ten consecutive years. I provide guidance to my clients as they grow, on franchise/licensing issues, as well as trademark/copyright and employment issues. I have substantial experience in obtaining trademark registrations, defending/prosecuting trademark/copyright claims, and handling employment law matters. I started my career at Greenberg Traurig in Miami, where I was trained as a commercial litigator. I had my own practice in Miami for six years, before moving to New York in my career, I have tried 12 jury trials, and numerous non-jury trials, arbitrations and appeals, in disputes involving contracts, franchising, trademarks, employment, defamation, construction, and real estate matters.
