I perform regular system administrative activities, including system reboot, back up, recovery,archiving and restoration. Checks and ensures all databases are online and can be connected to. Monitors and tunesdatabases to ensure a high level of performance. I perform regular checks on database log files backup status and system hardware resources likespace, CPU, and memory. Runs database tests and tunes database performance, and identifies opportunities forimprovement. I do routine system maintenance support, to ensure that any system disruptions mandated by anupgrade or patch follow the necessary guidelines and approvals. It supports installation of operating systems, databases, applications, development upgrades, andnew releases. Executes any needed upgrades to the software applications and maintains necessary licensing. I Troubleshoot and perform performance tuning on the data engine to ensure optimal operation andefficiency.
