I took on the role of Special Finance for the Douglas Automotive Group. In this position I reassessed all of the applications that had been declined at other Dealerships. My primary objective is to find a way to approve every single customer through one of our various lenders. This often leads to selling the customer on the benefit of switching to a more appropriate vehicle or putting more money down. It always required negotiations with our lenders to find solutions and deal structures that the both sides could live with.
