Responsible for the promotion and growth of the company. Meeting potential clients to ascertain their needs and preparing and submitting fee proposals for professional services.Carrying out full Building Surveys, Schedule of Condition Surveys, Defect Inspection Reports, Scheduled Maintenance Surveys and report writing. Full range of Design & Project Management services from design and specification of new build and refurbishment schemes including Project Management through to completion. Typical contract value between and use of AutoCAD and Revit software for design of buildings, repairs and producing technical drawings and details. Dealing with regulatory authorities including preparation and submission of Planning and Building Control Applications. Communicating the project to all members of the construction team, explaining design, and the implementation of any unfamiliar technology, ensuring works are carried out on time and to high standard. Liaising and managing external consultants, looking at alternative forms of construction, and incorporating it into the scheme. Overseeing development on site, and monitoring site progress and problems through site development meetings.Acting as both Building Owners Surveyor and Adjoining Owners Surveyor in accordance with the Party Wall etc. Act 1996.Support in the training of junior/graduate surveyors.
