The Inaugural Thematic Research Lead for Health working in the Health and Wellbeing Hub in UK Parliament, this role aims to facilitate the integration of the most up to date health research into UK Parliamentary Policy.Liaising with the Commons and Lords Libraries, The Office for Science and Technology, Knowledge Exchange Unit as well as parliamentary groups and members themselves facilitates conversations about a range of topics - From integrating Artificial Intelligence into today\'s Healthcare settings to addressing health inequalities for those of different socio-economic, ethnic or gender backgrounds; from the impact of the first days of life on outcomes to recognising and managing Frailty at the end of life.Whilst doing this, I continue working clinically at the Royal Devon University NHS Healthcare Foundation Trust and leading clinical trials with the university of Exeter.
