Festival Connect & Create (FC & C) is a Norfolk & Norwich Festival initiative to improve the creative and cultural offer for children and young people and their communities in East Anglia (Norfolk, Suffolk, Peterborough and Cambridgeshire). FC & C activates creative people and cultural communities by connecting leaders, delivering interventions and sharing ideas, knowledge and experiences. FC & C contributes to NNF’s mission to lead and support celebration, creativity and curiosity in our community to make our part of the world a great place to live, learn, work and play. My main duties as Festival Connect & Create Senior Manager are to- Devise, deliver and evaluate an artist-in-schools residency programme in support of creative engagement to support and improve the creative and cultural offer for children and young people and their communities across East Anglia- Devise, deliver and evaluate networks and information sharing resources for peer support and professional development in support of creative engagement- Instigate, build and/or manage key stakeholder relationships nationally and in East Anglia with organisations and individuals with shared ambitions. These include (but are not limited to) cultural organisations, education providers, Arts Council England, cultural education related networks, Music Education Hubs, Local Authorities, and other cross-sector non-arts partners- Instigate, build and/or manage relationships with place-based partnerships in East Anglia including (but not limited to) Local Cultural Education Partnerships- Collaborate with the Festival Connect & Create Senior Producer to support presentation of FC & C activities in the annual festival- Act as Designated Safeguarding Person for the organisation.
