   Leading ETL effort to extract safety data from a plethora of PDF letters written to the FAA to address critical and non-critical safety hazards regarding an enterprise fleet of aerospace products. o Analyzing and investigating different safety opportunities for Boeing Enterprise products. o Identifying the primary problem(s) and root cause(s) associated with a safety opportunity. o Developing solutions that are both pragmatic and feasible to efficiently resolve a safety opportunity. o Implementing the aforementioned solutions at an efficient rate to achieve maximum benefit. o Verifying and validating that the aforementioned solutions correctly resolved the initial problems as well as in an expeditious fashion. o Communicating next steps with salient details to Boeing Safety Leadership (BSL). o Acting expert and focal for the website and linked database that is used by Boeing Safety Teams & FAA. Managed a technical project while also providing insightful suggestions for the development of a software tool. o Contributed to a GitLab portfolio for a Python development tool. o Researched best practices for building an ETL tool and taught himself how to use tools like OCR Tesseract and Docker to automate a PDF extraction process (separate from above). o Learned and practiced machine learning activities to use the data from the ETL tool and train a Boeing- internal website application. Ensures time-sensitive safety letters are promptly sent to the FAA via Python automation. Performed data analyses for Boeing Safety Leadership to identify a story from the trend of the data in order for BSL to make decisions and to present to the International Air Transport Association (IATA).
